This is long due, but on last week's class, we learned how to search .swf files on the net, as well as utilizing this file for a presentation by inserting it in the Microsoft Office Powerpoint.
Besides that, mail merger was taught to us. It is basically using the Microsoft Word to send out invites to a long list of different people and save us from the tedious work we have venture if we opt for the manual way.
Hi everyone, assalamualaikum and good day
So to recap, so far in ict lessons -
1. We learnt about mathematical equations and making a diagram on microsoft word, the concept was based on cats and rats.
2. our second project was on microsoft powerpoint, how we would want to place videos from the internet onto our presentation slides
3. we've learnt how to draw faces using powerpoint. our main tool was the curve tool and to be honest, i had fun.
4. we also learnt on mail merger and how to send bulk mail to many people, such as sending invitations for weddings etc.
5. this week we learnt about ethical hacking, about ip address, about readnotify.com, we learnt about the command application in our computers. We also became aware of the Teamviewer application - which is basically a software designed to share documents between two computers
We learnt about how to use TeamViewer. What a cool tool!!! By using others IDs, u can have control on their computers.Actually this is useful when you want to have access to and sharing files from your computer at home whenever you are away from home i.e when you have furthered your studies abroad. We also learnt about using ping to check wheter someone is online or not but this can only be done if you have their computer's IP adress. :)
ICT classes has taught me some very interesting and useful information that would be able to help me a long way. We first learnt how to search animation files ( swf files ) on the internet. These animation files would be the perfect study tool for subjects such as Biology. The mail merging tool in Microsoft Word was another topic that we learnt. This allows us to skip all the hassles of typing many letters to many recipients and saves time - a lot of time! We also learnt a method to check if the internet was working - a definite necessity in KY! Also, we learnt how to find out our own IP address. Apart from that, we were taught how to find out whether a person is online by typing "ping [their IP address]" after going to Start - Run - and keying in command. The final thing we learnt as of today was using Team Viewer as a means to remotely control another computer, therefore allowing you to transfer files from the remote computer or to the remote computer from your computer - a very interesting tool to have on your computer, I should say.
Yesterday we learned how to use termviewer , it's a proprietary computer software package for desktop sharing , remote control , online meetings and file transfer between computers. We also learned how to use IPconfig to find out whether another person is online or not
Hi people. Yesterday we learnt to use the software TeamViewer. It is a software which allows you to have access to your friend's desktop with permission. I find it very useful as it allows you to share information with a friend who lives far from you desktop-to-desktop. Ethical hacking to me is a very interesting topic in ICT class. I really enjoy learning it and I wish to learn more of it.
yesterday, i learned how to ethically hack to somebody's computer. teamviewer is the programme that we need to install and use it straight away as long as the computer that we want to hack is online and we have their pin and password. it's a cool thing because we can share information, transfer files and stuff
Hello everyone!
Yesterday for our ICT class, we had the opportunity to use the TeamViewer, which is indeed one of the most fascinating internet tools that I have stumbled online so far! It allows us to control other computers while using our own desktop. Not only that, we can also use it for file transfer, chat and so on! It is interesting because it gives us access to our computers, especially during inconvenient times.
On the 6th of February, we learned how to use a tool known as teamviewer. Teamviewer is a tool that enables control over a PC from your own. It only requires both machines to be running and an ID + password match. The control works two-ways. Through teamviewer, one may transfer files from one PC to another, edit files on another PC and hold virtual meetings.
We learnt about the software TeamViewer yesterday, which I think is a very useful and cool software. Being able to control other computer's desktop using own's computer is a fun experience. I got a chance to be an 'ethical hacker' too! Now that i've learnt about teamviewer, i can actually use it to extract files or folders, even music and movies from the computer at home, i wouldn't need to worry about not being able to get information stored in other computers. Overall, i find yesterday's lesson an interesting one.
