ICT August 2013 batch
Dear ICT students of AUG 2013 batch under Dr.Ravichandran, I welcome you all this Web portal, which you will be using for your entire course. This http://as-computing.ning portal is were you will have to upload / post all the classroom based activities.
The CIE ICT task will have to be handed to be in person at the end of each CIE task class and the question paper/ CIE folder should not be take with you under any circumstances. That is, the folder should be given to me after your use in class once you complete your Cie task for that particular class.

WE WILL DO 5 TASKS OF CIE , WHICH MEANS YOU NEED TO COMPLETE, WORD, EXCEL, POWERPOINT, DATABASE AND HTML TO GET QUALIFIED FOR A DIPLOMA.

Today, we basically learnt about ethical hacking. Its simple and easy using TeamViewer device. All you need is another computer and access to its' password. I dont know whether im ever going to apply the knowledge i just gained in the near future or not, but it adds up value to my IT knowledge and skills.

Today in class i learnt about 'ethical hacking' where I am able to share documents and files with another computer, as well as be shared with another computer. We use the program TeamViewer and have to be first allowed by the other user on their computer before we can start exchanging files. I think that this is a very useful tool.

Today I learnt about ethical hacking, which is completely new to me. I find it very, very interesting and should there come a circumstance that calls for it, I know how to do it already.

Today, I discovered this software called TeamViewer, where you could actually 'ethically' hack someone's computer. TeamViewer is a computer software package for remote control, desktop sharing, and file transfer between computers. How amazingly awesome is that?! You simply have to type in the password from the partner computer and vice versa. And just like that, you could gain access to the partner computer. This can be useful especially if you have another computer at a distant location. Looking forward to other useful softwares & programs!

I had always thought that hacking is sth beyond my ability until I learn about "ethical hacking" today... By using Teamviewer, we can easily gain access to other computers and extract any info we need..It's nice to know that I do not have to later make a copy of the space-consuming files I kept in my pc into my harddisc....^^

I now know how this hacking works though we are just doing it legally in class, for now. It takes you no time to share & exchange things from desktops. TeamViewer, all is needed. Am really really keen to know how the real vicious hacking runs. Till the next class,

Last class, we learned how to make animation. This was something really new to me, I had no idea we could do that. Firstly, we drew in paint and saved it as picture 1. Slight alterations were made to the picture (eg: different eye position) and the second picture was saved. The steps are repeated. A website called gickr.com enables you to convert them into an animation, following a series of steps on the website, enabling you to post it on forums later.
Today we learned about ethical hacking. This is done using an installed program called Team Viewer. By obtaining the ID and password of another computer, we can access the content of that computer and control it. Now I don't have to worry about any needed documents in my home computer when i'm studying abroad in the near future.

today, i had learn to do a simple hacking to the other computer through teamviewer , i think it is a software or application in the PC..basically, i dont know much about this teamviewer even its function..but, know i can say that i got the main view of it..i shall try this at home..
about yesterday, we had learn how to make a very simple animation as a guide to do some other complex animation....
it is so fun actually..however, i did it in bad mood because of the chemistry test, and for sure it become a very weird animation..hehheeh..juat a blind man animation.

Its a very useful lesson we had today. Using teamviewer software, we could easily access to other computers where ever we are with the permission of the owner. In other words, its ethical hacking. By this we can transfer any files from the remote computer to ours and also the other way round.

I had experienced so many times that I left documents in laptop to be brought when going to cybercafe. As a result, I have to go to my home back to take those documents and truly it was wasting time and money. After I learned ethical hacking, I know this would be very helpful to get access from my laptop if I am at somewhere else using another computer, even when I am at a very great distance. TeamViewer software will be very helpful to access my laptop from great distance. I just simply have to remember my laptop ID and password, as my laptop has installed TeamViewer software too. But, the most important thing that you need someone to let our laptop on, otherwise I cannot even access my laptop especially though....

Before this my mindset is once you left your computer at home,you can't approach anything in your computer by using other computer.But today Dr. Ravi has taught us how to transfer everything in your computer to the others.With team view facility I can ask my sister help in order to get the things.Firstly I should ask her to open the team view facility and then ask for the ID number and password in my computer at home.Then I will connect to her and I can control my computer hence approach anything there.

Today we learned to google swf files and how to add them to Powerpoint.
