This is what we learned in ICT class block 3 today! We learned how to make gifs. Which I think, is pretty cool. I've always wanted to make gifs, and now I can. Thank you Mr. Ravi! I will be making more gifs in the future.

Hello, my name is Dhivya Raj.Today's class was really interesting as i found out how cartoons are made!! Thanks to Dr. Ravi, now i do too know how to create my own animations.My classmates and i also learnt how to make our powerpoint presentations more effective and interesting.We learnt how to download videos regarding the topic we want and then insert in our presentations.Through, the Shockwave Flash Object, we managed to do so.I really didn't know about all this until i was put in this ICT class.Thank you.

Today, I learned how to download swf files from different browsers.

First, in the Google search engine, type "<anything>:swf" and click on search.

Different browsers have different ways of saving swf files. For Internet explorer, first click on the link, followed by tools and then Sothink Flash downloader. If you do not have the downloader, you can download it first for free. Downloadception.

For Google Chrome, click on the desired link, then tools, save page as and then save.

For Mozilla Firefox, it's tools, followed by page info, media, and then save.

Fact: You can play your downloaded swf file with a KMPlayer.

Fact again: Google Chrome is fastest because it already has a built-in flash player.

The fairy tales we deserve

 

The Disney’s stories that enchant us today are drawn from ancient , worldwide folk tradition
. Some folklorist  believe that  ‘cinderella’ in its most basic form – neglected youngest child is tested, found worthy, rewarded with mate – dates back to the old stone age.

 

 

Cinderella

 

 

Folk versions of ‘cinderella’ were related in hundreds of socities. In these stories,  the ‘test’ for the unfortunate child is different. Our familiar Cinderella is magnificient  and has a tiny feet. By contrast the japenese   Cinderella get her price by  writing her prize winning poem.
